What is a Development Education Centre?Development Education Centres (DECs) are independent local centres that raise the profile of global issues and encourage positive local action for global change.Partners, participants, audiences:Cheshire DEC works with teachers, education advisors, Early Years practitioners, ITE tutors and students, schools, HE institutions and community organisations. CDEC is a member of the Development Education Association (DEA) and the North West Global Education Network (NWGEN) www.nwgen.org There are 32 DECs across the UK.
